Marius Fabre liquid Marseille soap – lavender, 1 l

A family-run workshop in the south of France, Marius Fabre has been making traditional, kettle-boiled Marseille soaps since 1900 – today the fourth generation runs the workshop. This liquid version is based on the same recipe, with ingredients of plant origin: a soap base made from coconut and olive oil.

It cleanses gently but effectively and does not dry out the skin, so it is a good choice for both hand washing and the body. Thanks to the skin-nourishing properties of olive oil, it helps preserve the skin's natural moisture content (dermatological study: SVHO/99, Montpellier Faculty of Medicine, Department of Dermatology). The natural lavender scent is soothing and stress-relieving – it takes you to Provence for a moment.

Usage:

Apply a little soap to wet hands or skin, work it into a lather, then rinse off with plenty of water. It is worth decanting the large size into a bottle fitted with a pump dispenser.
